These large magnets can be used for both glass boards and whiteboards. But if they are to be used for magnetic glass boards, you should know that the magnet itself is quite heavy, which is why it can only hold approx. 5 pieces of paper hanging on a quality board (e.g. on Chatboards).
On whiteboards, the magnet easily holds 20 pieces of paper.
