Ferrite magnet, Disc 70x15 mm.

Description
Description
Sometimes size is more important than strength. This magnet weighs approx. 280 grams and has a strength of 8 kg. An equivalent in neodymium would be able to carry approx. 10 times more and weighs much less, but sometimes tasks require a large and heavy magnet that can withstand high temperatures - and in that case, this magnet is just the right magnet for your project.
Diameter: 70 mm.
Height: 15 mm.
Strength: approx. 8.4 kg. (18.52 lbs)
Very large disc ferrite magnet (Ø7 cm.).
Ferrite magnets withstand temperatures up to 250 degrees and down to -40 degrees Celcius and can therefore be used both indoors and outdoors.
Magnets must always be kept away from small children due to the risk of suffocation, as they are not toys. This one is too big for a small child to swallow, but on the other hand, you can get some pinched lice if you use it carelessly + the magnet can splinter in collision with metal or other magnets. So keep it away from children.
The ferrite magnets do not have a protective layer (coating) and are therefore a little fragile. They still work even if a small tab is knocked off, and you can also pick up a magnet that is broken.

Processing of magnets may only be done with special tools, designed for magnets.
Never have magnets in the immediate vicinity of electronic devices such as mobile phones, computer, hearing aid, pacemaker etc. There may be periodic fluctuations in the electronics, which is not recommended to expose electronic equipment to. So only use magnets for purposes where a magnet fits the project as a part of the construction.
