Description

Sometimes size is more important than strength. This magnet weighs approx. 210 grams and can carry almost 5 kg. in weight. An equivalent in neodymium would be able to carry approx. 10 times more than the ferrite magnet and weighs much less, but sometimes tasks require a large and heavy magnet that can withstand high temperatures, and in that case this magnet is just the right magnet for you and your magnetic project.

Diameter: 60 mm.
Height: 15 mm.
Strength: approx. 4.9 kg. (10.80 lbs)

Large disk magnet in 100% ferrite (Y35) - diameter Ø6 cm.

Magnets must always be kept away from small children due to the risk of suffocation, as they are not toys. Also big magnets as they can splinter at collision (magnet vs. magnet or metal).

The ferrite magnets do not have a protective layer (coating) and are therefore a little fragile. They still work even if a small tab is knocked off, and you can also pick up a magnet that is broken. But the most optimal thing is to avoid hard treatment of the magnets. Then they last much longer.

SPECIFICATIONS
Strength: approx. 4,900 g.
Material: Ferrite
Magnetism: Y35
Gauss: 4000-4100
Tesla: 0.40-0.41
Min. temperature: -40°C
Max. temperature: 250°C
Surface: no coating

Processing of magnets may only be done with special tools, designed for magnets.
