This style of mounting tape, also known as double-sided strong tape, is a smart alternative when you have to hang an item up and you do not want to use liquid glue. Double-sided tape effectively sticks to the most properly prepped and cleaned surfaces. Always remember to clean your contact surface with isopropyl alcohol first.

The carry capacity for this type of tape is 120 kg (264.56 lbs.) in total per roll.

IMPORANT! The 120 kg strength capacity is calculated using the entire roll of tape included in one package. Therefore, this gives you a strength capacity of approximately 0.8 kg. (1.76 lbs.) per centimeter of double-sided tape. If you need to use this tape to glue magnets, you need to remember to match the strength requirement to the strength of the magnets. This is required so that the tape does not “give up” before the magnet. An equal balance needs to be calculated to ensure that neither the magnet nor the tape will fail. What are the differences between glue and double-sided tape? The two biggest differences are that you cannot move the tape around once it has been pressed onto the surface, and that glue is often stronger. Glue can be moved around once it has been applied onto your surface. However, glue requires a drying time of at least 72 hours. Double-sided tape only needs one (1) hour once it has been applied onto a surface.

This double-adhesive tape can be used indoors and outdoors.

It will work on metal, wood, glass, plastic, ceramics, tiles, rubber, plaster, stone and concrete. But the tape is not suitable for mounting mirrors.

Always remember that surfaces must be prepared before using the double-sided tape. The surfaces must be dry, clean, free of dust and grease, and they must be flat surfaces. After cleaning the surfaces with isopropyl alcohol, we recommend doing the following:

Unroll a suitable piece of tape and cut it off.

Firmly press the adhesive side onto one surface with firm and steady pressure, making sure there are no air pockets. It is vital that no air bubbles are trapped. Over time, air bubbles will lead to the tape failing.

Remove the protective film from the other side and firmly press the object onto the tape.

ATTENTION! Correction is not possible after you have pressed the tape firmly. And do not touch the adhesive surfaces with your fingers, as the chemicals/oils on your skin will significantly reduce the adhesion.

The tape roll must be stored in a cool and dry area, away from direct sunlight and direct heat sources.

Warranty on the adhesiveness depends on external conditions, such as temperatures and wear. But, if proper steps have been taken, a 12-month minimum standard is guaranteed.
