Very strong, white rubber magnet with external steel thread (M8).
The magnet itself is made of neodymium magnets of the type N42 and is used as a magnetic bolt.
The construction is made with many small magnets under the rubber coating. This is to achieve the strongest magnet as a large ring magnet will be fragile at this size. But in return, you get a magnet where you are not limited by north/south poles, since 2 magnets of the same type can be placed against each other, as long as they are rotated with the correct poles opposite each other (i.e. every other magnet has opposite pole, and therefore you only have to turn one magnet slightly if 2 magnets repel).

You can screw the magnet together with magnet types with internal M8 thread or you can use an M8 nut.
Can be used on glass boards but is VERY strong, so be careful even if the magnet has a rubber coating.

The carrying capacity of the 25 kg. is measured directly on a strong, magnetic steel plate made of pure steel. Distance between magnet and magnetic counterpart (magnet or magnetic surface) weakens the carrying capacity. A distance of 2 mm. weakens the bearing capacity by approx. 70%, while a distance of 5 mm. weakens the carrying capacity by as much as 92%. And in downward drafts, you must count on a carrying capacity of approx. 6 kg.
This type of magnet can be used outdoors, but the steel thread can rust over time with permanent outdoor use.

The rubber magnet withstands wind and weather well, which is why it is ideal to use this magnet outdoors. However, you should know that the external thread is not made of stainless steel, which is why it can rust over time if it is not wrapped. If you are looking for a stainless magnet, choose a ferrite magnet instead.
