This is a very strong flat block magnet made of neodymium with N45 magnetism. The magnets can be stuck on all magnetic surfaces (are magnetic all the way around with S-pole on one surface and N-pole on the other surface). However, you should be aware that 2.7 kg. in direct pull is a pretty strong magnet when you have to move it around, and because it's so flat, it's easiest to push it to the side to get it off again or to separate it from other magnets.
