Description

Only buy this neodymium magnet if you know what you are dealing with!

Super strong hook magnet with 110 kg. in strength.

Diameter: 6.3 cm.
Height: 6.6 cm.
Hook opening width: 1.7 cm.
Hook inner diameter: 2.2 cm.
Strength: approx. 110 kg.

The magnetism is at the bottom of the hook magnet. The hook is removable with an M8 thread.

The magnet is not made of stainless steel. So if you need to use it in wet environments or e.g. for magnet fishing, you must remember to wipe it dry after use. However, rust is only visual and will not have any impact on the magnets effect: the magnetism is not weakened unless the entire magnet is attacked by rust.

The hook magnet is only magnetic at the bottom (opposite the hook). It has the strongest pull on a horizontal surface. The pull is less on a vertical surface, as the magnet slides easily on a vertical surface.

This hook magnet cannot be used for glass boards - it will easily damage the glass plate due to strength. So never use magnets with a strength of more than 20 kg. for magnetic glass boards.

SPECIFICATIONS:
Strength: approx. 110 kg.
Magnetism: N38
Thread size: M8
Surface: nickel plated (Ni)

FAQ about direct pull:
Load capacity is measured directly on a thick, magnetic steel plate.

The strength weakens the further the pot magnet is from the magnetic surface. If you need hang a heavy object with the hook magnet and the pull is skewed in relation to the magnet's fixed point, or if it takes up a lot of space upwards or downwards (e.g. clothes or a drying line), then some weight must be added to the load-bearing capacity requirement, since the hook in this case has to carry a lot of weight downward and not just "directly". In this case, you need a strength of at least 4 times the weight of what you want the magnet to carry.

Please contact us if you need help calculating the strength you need for your project.
