Pot magnet w. threaded stud, Ø16 mm.

Description
Description
This type of magnet is strong and has M4 external threads.
The construction of a pot magnet consists of a reinforced neodymium magnet with a steel pot protective sleeve. The steel pot around the magnet acts as a conduit that reinforces the magnetism.
This type of magnet offers you the options of either screwing the magnet directly onto your surface point like a screw, or you can secure it with a locknut.
Be advised, two pot magnets cannot be used directly opposite of one another. Since this type of magnet incorporates external threads, the magnetic poles of all the magnets must face the same direction.
In full disclosure, we always measure the magnetic strength in direct pull on a thick magnetic steel plate. We have found and want to stress to you that the more space there exists between the magnet and the magnetic surface, the weaker the magnetism capability will be.
SPECIFICATIONS
Strength: approx. 8,000 g.
Diameter: 16 mm.
Pot height: 5 mm.
Total height: 13.5 mm.
Magnetism: N42
Surface: nickel-coated (Ni)
Thread: M4
Max. temperature: 80°C
ATTENTION! This type of magnet is not made of stainless steel; therefore, we recommend you use them only indoors.
We do not recommend using these steel pot magnets on magnetic glass boards. This is because the edges of the steel pot can scratch, and/or destroy, the glass board. As an alternative, we suggest you choose a magnetic variety that incorporates a protective rubber coating.
