Description
Description
Small but super strong pot magnet with threaded stud. Thread size: M3.
Made of neodymium with a steel pot (steel enhances magnetism).
You can choose to use the magnet as a screw by screwing it directly into an item (e.g. metal or another magnet) with internal thread (M3), or it can be used with a nut.
You cannot place two of these magnets directly against each other as they have the same pole pointing outwards.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Strength: approx. 2,500 g.
Diameter: 10 mm.
Pot height: 5 mm.
Total height: 12 mm.
Magnetism: N42
Surface: nickel-plated (Ni-Cu-Ni)
Thread size: M3
Max. temperature: 80°C
You get the full force of a magnet when using it directly on a smooth counterpart (other magnet or a thick metal plate). When space is created between the two magnetic items (the magnet vs. another magnet or metal), adhesive force is alread lost considerably after only 0.5 mm. At a distance of 2 mm., only 30% of the magnetic force is effective.
