MLAY600 Lifter (MagSwitch)

A MagSwitch MLAY600M is the helping hand that is so often missing in the warehouse. Or as MagSwitch itself says: the ultimate compact lifting magnet.

The magnet has both a handle and a lifting hook. See photos for illustration of how to use an MLAY lifter. Ingenious for lifting sharp, dirty or too hot/cold objects. You simply place an MLAY lifter on the metal object and activate the magnetism - and voila, you have a good and reliable magnet to lift with.

This model can take 265 kg. in max strength. But you must be aware that there are strict rules regarding safety for lifting, so safe lifting strength is stated at 88 kg. for this magnet - much more than most of us can carry around.

You get a smart magnet that you can "turn on and off". It is made with a strong magnet, where you can activate the magnetism from a distance and deactivate it again. There is therefore no current in the magnet as with electromagnetism. MagSwitch has simply found an easy and smart way to make a tool where you can control whether the lifting magnet should stick magnetically or let go of an object.

The magnet is activated by pressing the small handle in the middle down and turn it to one side. And it is deactivated again by turning it back.
