Magnetic fishing magnet (200 kg.)

Description
Description
If 200 kg. in strength makes you nervous, don't rush into buying this magnet! But if, on the other hand, you are up for an adventure and respect the wild power of neodymium magnets, then this is just the thing for you.
Diameter: 7.5 cm.
Height: 2, 5 cm.
Hook size: M10
Strength: approx. 200 kg.
NB! Magnets are not toys! We advise against using this fishing magnet for children under the age of 16.
Here you can order the magnet for magnet fishing by itself - also available in a set with rope and carabiner, but this only comes with the magnet and eye hook (bolt).
We are often referred to as Glostrup's magnet fishing shop. We are not a shop in the traditional sense, but you can always order online and then pick up your fishing magnet at our address every weekday during opening hours.
The magnet has 2 internal threads: one at the top and one at the side. There are various advantages to putting the thread in the top and side. But after all, it's very much a matter of preference, and you should therefore try both out before deciding on one. It's recommended to use a carabiner when tying on your rope, to achieve more flexibility in the water with your magnet (carabiner and rope are not included in this package).
Not made of stainless steel: Since the hook magnets are in a steel pot that is not made of stainless steel, remember to wipe your magnet to remove water when you have finished using it - just use a regular, dry cloth. It keeps the rust at bay. However, even if your magnet does rust, it will not affect the magnetism itself for a long time.

FAQ about direct pull:
The strength is measured directly on a thick, magnetic steel plate. The strength weakens the further the pot magnet comes from the magnetic surface. That is if you have to hang something big and heavy, which takes up a lot of space upwards or downwards, then some weight must be added to the strength requirement, as in this case the hook must bear a lot of weight downwards and not just "directly". Feel free to contact us if you need us to calculate what you need for your project.
If you e.g. If you want to pull a bike out of the water, you must catch onto a part of the frame where the magnet can get a good grip. The strength depends on how large of an area of the magnet's surface is touching the metal directly. If the bicycle has a very rounded frame, and the magnet hits the round frame, then the magnet may only have a solid base on 10% of the magnet, and thus the full magnetic strength is not used to pull the bicycle up. But if, on the other hand, you get hold of a flat part with more metal collected (such as a flat pedal crank or spokes that are placed close to each other on the wheel), then you use more of the magnet and thereby get more strength out of the magnet to pull the bike up.
NOTE! Always remember to make sure that the supplied eyebolt is screwed firmly. The magnet and bolt can pull up to 100 kg.
