Description
Use a flux detector sheet to show the magnetic field of your permanent magnets. Or find weak points on your magnetic sheet.
A flux sheet is the smart way to make otherwise invisible magnetic fields visible.
How do flux detectors work?
Small nickel particles collect and show a dark color where the magnetic field is strongest and at the same angle as the sheet. The light marks on the sheet show where the magnetic field is parallel to the sheet. The sheet is often used to find out the direction of the poles of a magnet (not north vs. south but whether it is axial or diametrical magnetism). But it's also used for magnets that have been hit and for magnetic sheets that have been exposed to permanent magnets to check if the magnetic field is weak.
The sheet is therefore often used to find the direction of the poles of a magnet (not north vs. south but whether it is axial or diametrical magnetism). But it is also used for magnets that have been struck and for magnet sheets exposed to permanent magnets to test for weaknesses in the magnetic field.
Size: 7.5 x 7.5 cm.
Color: Green.
The sheets are sold individually.
