Description
Description
Set up your power magnet with a screw - it's quite practical when you need to make wood or other material magnetic. The strength of this Ø42 mm. magnet is approx. 12 kg. in a straight line, so that it can hold for quite a while.
Diameter: 4.2 cm.
Height: 0.4 cm.
Screw hole: ø 4.5 mm. (M3)
Strength: approx. 12 kg.
We sell power magnets by the piece, so you can just buy the number you need. Therefore, you can also just buy 1 piece. of this 42x4 magnet.
The countersunk screw hole (conical shape) allows you to get a flat surface when using a countersunk head screw.
Never tighten screws too tight when working with magnets, as the tension can cause the magnet to break. If you need a magnet that can handle rougher treatment, you should choose a magnet with a steel pot instead.
The strength of the 12 kg. is measured in direct pull on a strong, magnetic steel plate. If there is a distance between the magnet and the magnet's magnetic counterpart, the carrying capacity is significantly weakened.
We recommend this type of neodymium magnet for indoor use. With constant contact with wind and weather, power magnets rust over time, but it takes a long time before the strength weakens, as long as the magnet is not exposed to temperatures above 80 degrees.
Can be used with the greatest caution on a glass board if you need very high strength. But you have to be careful, since magnets with a strength of 12 kg. are not toys. And you must be sure that there is no screw edge that can scratch your magnetic board.
SPECIFICATIONS
Strength: approx. 12,000 g.
Magnetism: N35
Surface: nickel-plated (Ni)
NOTE! You cannot use 2 of these magnets opposite each other if you screw them onto two surfaces that must meet magnetically, as the poles are facing the same way on all the magnets. Instead, choose a similarly sized magnet or metal as a counterpart. Feel free to contact us if you have any doubts.
