Description
Sunk oblong neodymium magnet with 2 pcs. screw holes for countersunk head screws.
Size: 6x2 cm.
Height: 0.4 cm.
Screw hole: ø 4.5 mm. (2 pcs.)
Length between screw holes: 30 mm.
Load capacity: approx. 13 kg.
Screw the magnet to a piece of wood or anything else that is not magnetic that you need can be used magnetically. This is a very strong magnet, so it can hold a part in direct pull.
Since the magnet is not protected by steel or anything else, and it is elongated and very strong, this magnet is especially suitable for put into a wedge in a wooden shelf, in furniture or other places where you have to make something magnetic, but where the magnet is protected at the same time.
Always remember to be careful when tightening the screws, as the magnets are fragile. If you overtighten the screws, the magnet can easily break.
The strength of 13 kg. is measured in direct pull on a strong, magnetic steel plate. The carrying capacity weakens the further the magnet is from its magnetic counterpart and if it has to carry something in an indirect pull (eg if you hang it on the wall and have something to hang down from there via the magnetism).
Not for outdoor use (rusts over time).
SPECIFICATIONS:
Strength: approx. 13,000 g.
Magnetism: N35
Surface: nickel-plated (Ni)
NOTE! You can't take 2 of these magnets and put them opposite each other too - they have the poles facing the same way and will therefore repel each other - instead use a similar size neodymium magnet (power magnet) or a piece of metal to counter this recessed power magnet .
