Description
Description
Round neodymium magnet with hole for countersunk screw - makes it easy for you to screw the magnet to anything you want to make magnetic.
Diameter: 1.2 cm.
Height: 0.4 cm.
Screw hole: ø 4.5 mm. (M3)
Strength: approx. 1.6 kg.
The round power magnet has a countersunk hole, so you can get a flat surface with a countersunk screw.
Be aware that the magnets are very strong and not protected by a pot. They must therefore be handled carefully so that they do not break, as the only protection is the nickel coating. You must therefore not overtighten the screw, but only screw it in until the flat, recessed screw head aligns with the surface of the magnet.
Load capacity is measured in direct pull on a strong, magnetic steel plate. The carrying capacity weakens the further the magnet is from its magnetic counterpart. Normally we make our magnets with a density of N45 or higher, but because they become extra brittle in this small size with a screw hole in the center of 3 mm., we have had to choose a smaller density of N35. However, you still get a very strong magnet.
Cannot be used on a magnetic glass board.
We recommend this type of neodymium magnet for indoor use. With constant contact with wind and weather, power magnets rust over time, but it takes a long time before the strength weakens, as long as the magnet is not exposed to temperatures above 80 degrees.
SPECIFICATIONS
Strength: approx. 1,600 g.
Magnetism: N35
Surface: nickel-plated (Ni)
NOTE! You cannot use 2 of these magnets opposite each other if you screw them onto two surfaces that must meet magnetically, as the poles are facing the same way on all the magnets. Instead, choose a similar size magnet or metal counterpart with the same diameter of 12 mm. or thereabouts. Feel free to contact us if you have any doubts.
