Description
Countersunk magnets | Neodymium
Size: 1.2 x 1.2 cm.
Height: 0.4 cm.
Screw hole: ø 4.5 mm.
Load capacity: approx. 3 kg.
Square power magnet with recessed hole. Can be screwed onto anything to be made magnetic with a countersunk screw.
Be aware that the magnets are very strong and are not protected by a pot. They must therefore be handled carefully so that they do not break, as the only protection is the nickel coating. You must therefore not overtighten the screw; but only screw it in until the flat, recessed screw head aligns with the surface of the magnet.
Strength is measured in a direct pull on a strong, magnetic steel plate. The carrying capacity weakens the further the magnet is from its magnetic counterpart. Usually, we make our magnets with a density of N45 or higher, but because they become extra brittle in this small size with a screw hole in the center of 3 mm., we have had to choose a smaller density of N35 for these. However, you still get a very strong magnet.
We only recommend these magnets for indoor use. With constant contact with wind and weather, they rust over time.
SPECIFICATIONS
Strength: approx. 3,000 g.
Magnetism: N35
Surface: nickel-plated (Ni)
NOTE! You cannot use 2 of these magnets opposite each other, as the poles are facing the same way on all magnets, and they will therefore repel each other. Instead, choose a similar size of magnet for the counterpart or a metal plate size 12x12 mm. or bigger.
