Grey blackboard varnish from Skovgaard and Frydensberg.
Range: approx. 1.3 m2 at 3 layers.
Make a board with blackboard varnish and write with chalk on the finished board. Can be used on all clean, dry surfaces.
Use general. chalk on the surface.
Colour: gray (see photo for color chart).
There are many options with gray chalkboard paint, for example:
- Blackboard in the kitchen on the wall or a kitchen door for meal plans and sweet messages,
- A blackboard in the living room for weekly plans, to-do lists and funny quotes
- An entire wall in the children's room for chalk drawings. li>
Does the board have to be magnetic? Then you can combine the blackboard paint with magnetic paint.

SPECIFICATIONS:
The gray chalkboard varnish is based on alkyd and can bond on all dry, grease-free surfaces. Remember to prime first with primers if you are painting on a raw and unsaturated surface (e.g. brick or unpainted felt).
Blackboard varnish must be applied in 3 layers, if not painted with e.g. magnetic paint before. The more layers you paint with, the smoother the surface you will get on the finished surface.
Use a brush, roller or sprayer to apply the varnish. And thin the blackboard varnish with a little turpentine if you think it is too thick or difficult to paint with.
Drying time between each layer: 12 hours.
Recommended number of layers: 3 layers.
If there is high humidity, we recommend that you let it dry min. 8 hours more between each layer.
You get the best results by letting the finished board dry for 5-7 days before writing on the board with chalk, so that the varnish can set completely.
NOTE! Liquid chalkboard paint must never be put down the sewer drain, and it must be kept out of the reach of children.
