Ring magnets - Neodymium
Ring magnets of neodymium is very strong magnets - these magnets can carry many times their own weight. The ring magnets is used for many different things such as geocatching and collection of magnet chips on workshops for motors. We do also have ring magnets of ferrite.

Magnets with holes
Only because a ring magnet does have a hole does not mean that it automatically make it suitable for attach it with screws - for this purpose we have a lot of other types of magnets which is suitable for attaching with screws. But you can put a thread trough the hole in the ring magnet if you are going to hang something up or fishing for things which is lost in places where it may be difficult to reach it. - as an example if you have lost your keys in a grate, or something else which can be attracted of the magnetism and then can be pulled up. You also have the possiblity to attatch it on a rod or similar.
Magnetism on surfaces and sides
The strongest magnetic field is on the surfaces of our ring magnets (unless there is something else clearly stated on the product). But that does not mean that the magnets is not magnetic on the sides - on the contrary. For all other magnetic material (steel or similar) does the magnets get attracted on every surfaces, but to other magnets you are bound by the north and south poles, which needs to be combined so it not gets rejected. That means you not only need to turn the 2 ring magnets correct with north against south, when it is the magnets surfaces, but the same applies to the sides, where the magnetic field is "cut through" in a north and south part.
We are ready to help in customerservice
It can be difficult to do magentism understandable on a way which is fitting everybodies needs for knowledge. If there is something which is not giving any meaning to you, or if you still need some answers about ring magnets, you should not hestitate to contact us in customerservice. We are team with many years of experience. We also have a near collaboration with engineers, who can help, if we ourselves fall short in a magnetic situation.
