We have found some fun "hacks" for clothes with magnets. The magnets are used so that your clothes stay in place all evening - even if you are going out dancing. Here are our tips, and you can certainly come up with many more ways to use magnets in clothes yourself.
NOTE! Never use magnets if you have a pacemaker or if you will be in the company of people who have pacemakers. Just as a precaution! The magnets are small and in theory they can't do any harm, but don't take any chances!
Tie Magnets
Keep your tie looking great all night with this little trick:
1) A small magnet is put into one end of the tie and another small magnet is put into the other end of the tie:
With a small magnet, at both ends of the tie, you can easily hold your tie in place
2) The magnets come together and hold the tie in place:
3) You are ready to dance the night away
(we used these magnets: power magnet 5x3 mm.)
Magnets in shirt
Make the shirt collar sit nicely all evening, if there is no buttons in the collar to hold it in place:
1) a small magnet is inserted into the small pocket for shirt stiffeners
2) another small magnet is placed on the inside of the shirt
3) the magnets come together and hold the "collar" in place
4) you are ready to dance the night away
(we have used the same magnets as for the tie, namely these: power magnet 5x3 mm.)
< NOTE: If you have a nickel allergy, you must paint the magnet that will sit directly against the skin with a layer of nail polish etc. before use >
