Magnets for metal cabinets

Do you have one or more metal cabinets where you want to hang things? Then finally read on. You can take advantage of the fact that the metal is magnetic and hang everything from pictures to jackets with magnets. It's smart and you can get the most out of your metal cabinet. We have tested it ourselves on our cupboards and here give you inspiration for how you can use magnets. 

What should you pay attention to?

There is a difference in how magnetic a metal cabinet is. It really depends on which types of metal are used to produce the cabinet. Our metal cabinet is e.g. also lacquered and there will therefore be some distance between the metal and the magnet, which will impair the magnet's carrying capacity.

Make smart name tags with magnetic pockets

You can write the person's name and put the note in a magnetic pocket. Here, the pocket will protect against dirt and ensure that the nameplate remains attractive long after. We have used our black magnet pockets in 9x6 mm. They are available in many sizes, so you may not be able to find one that will fit your closet. It is easy to replace the note with a new name if the need arises. The magnetic pockets are actually ideal for student or employee lockers.

Hang up jackets with hook magnets

There is a difference in how much jackets weigh. It is therefore not completely irrelevant whether it is a summer jacket or a winter jacket that the hook magnet must hold. As you can see in the picture, we have hung up 3 different jackets. The jackets weigh somewhat differently - which is why we tested hook magnets in the sizes: Ø32, Ø40 and Ø50 mm. 

The green jacket was quite heavy and we have used a Ø40 mm hook magnet. For extremely heavy jackets, a hook magnet in Ø50 mm will do. be a good bet so that the magnet does not slide down. For the dark blue and black jacket, hook magnets in Ø32 mm have been sufficient. If you have very light jackets, it may in some cases be enough with a hook magnet in Ø25 mm. 

How to put up photos easily

Photos can be hung up with either small power magnets, magnetic tape or our popular magnetic pockets. It is possible to have pictures both outside and inside. In the picture you can see how we have put up our employee photos with white magnet pockets in 6x6 cm.
