Magnetic bookmark

A bookmark is a great help to those of us who forget how far we have come in the book we are reading. You can easily make your own magnetic bookmark in no time. There are several advantages to making a bookmark yourself instead of buying one. First, the magnetic bookmark won't fall out of the book. Secondly, you then have your very own, which others cannot find in the shops. You can make it personal with both text and images. Read on and you'll regret why you didn't get started sooner.

How to make a magnetic bookmark

You can make a magnetic bookmark in several different ways. It may be that you have already made a template and just need inspiration for how you can make it magnetic. Here you can e.g. use magnetic tape or power magnets, where there is self-adhesive on one side. It would obviously be the easiest for you, so you don't have to deal with superglue. You can use self-adhesive on most materials, e.g. paper, cardboard or cardboard. 

You can also make your own bookmarks from magnetic tape, which are often more magnetic than the ones you can buy from steel. It doesn't even take 5 minutes to make one and you can actually use it right away. 

Make a magnetic tape bookmark

Before you get started, consider the length, width and color of your magnetic tape bookmark. Our colored magnetic tape is sold per 1 meter, so you can easily make more than a single bookmark.

We have made a magnetic bookmark ourselves from white magnetic tape in 20 mm, and written a nice little text "mother", which you can see in the picture:

How to do it: You must start by cutting a piece of magnetic tape that you think will fit. Our magnetic tape is approximately 18 cm. in length.

You must then bend the magnetic tape in the middle and press firmly a few times so that it is completely flat. Now you can either write, draw or stick a pattern on the magnetic tape. We have written with a black whiteboard marker, but you can also write with a permanent marker or pen. It depends on whether you want to remove the text again. Now you are ready to use your smart magnetic bookmark.
