Magnetic spheres - build a camera

You can use our magnetic balls for many things. Only the imagination sets the limits. We ourselves have been building a camera out of our red magnetic balls. It's actually not as difficult as it might sound. The camera is surprisingly easy to make if you follow our video.

You can see in this video how we built a camera:

Before you get started, we recommend that you create a long range with the magnets you need. If you have used our neocubes, all 216 balls must be used.

Having trouble separating the magnets? Then a plastic card can be a good tool. We use one ourselves and it is worth its weight in gold.

How to build a magnetic camera

1) Make a large circle out of all the magnets and press the circle sides towards the center so that you get two long rows of magnets.

2) Take the ends of each row and put them together so that you now have 4 rows.

3) Count to 22 magnets in a row and separate them from the rest and put them on the side of the long row you have.

4) Remove the piece of the row that is longer than the rest.

5) Now remove one row from the large piece. Fold the ends together so that you now have 2 layers with 77 magnets each.

6) Stand the rectangle horizontally. From the small row you now take 8 magnets. Make them into a circle, pinch it and put them on top of the rectangle.

7) Now take 6 magnets, put them together into a circle, pinch it and put it on top of the ones you just put on.

8) Now you need 32 magnets. First make a circle of 8 magnets, take your string of magnets and make the rest of the circles on top of each other.

9) Place the circle roughly in the center of the rectangle and you are done with your camera.

We hope that you have built the desired camera. We have done our best to explain the process. If you are in doubt about anything, please feel free to contact us.
