A sprinkle of joy with fridge magnets

Check out what Lianne has to say about our fridge magnets: "I've always thought it was fun to draw and model crazy faces on ordinary everyday things and make them more fun to look at. And then I think it's fun to model miniature things; especially the edible things. When I started my own art business, I decided to make something more out of this joy, and that was the starting point for my magnet series."

The first magnets were produced and put on sale in 2019, and Lianne is happy with the design element of being able to play with the white surface of a fridge. With a plain background and a few magnets he was able to create something beautiful and fun, while at the same time designing something very personal in his home. Fridge magnets offer a great way of retaining many pieces of paper together and the ability to free create and a variety of art works to express yourself. A bit like painting or drawing - which it is you connect with, you know it brings joy.

Handmade and lacquered with many details

These fridge magnets are produced in Fimo polymer clay and painted with fimo lacquer. All designs are not only handmade but also hand painted. That is why there are many fine details on each individual magnet. But it also means that small variations will occur compared to photos. These are special characteristics that are not replicated else where.

The retaining magnets on the back are 10 mm neodymium magnets, with a strength of approximately 2.2 lbs. But keep in mind that the figure itself has some weight, so the real carrying capacity of the refrigerator magnet will be around 0.88 lbs. But do not let that change your mind, they are still stronger than your ordinary souvenir magnets (standard souvenir magnets have a load capacity of approximately 0.44 lbs).
