DIY Easter eggs have been made , Easter chickens and Easter bunnies, which are some of the classic decorations for Easter. You choose what you would like to make, but here we have made some templates for Easter decorations that you can download here.

What do you need for DIY Easter decorations?

  • Magnetic sheets in different colors
  • Scissors
  • Pencil or board marker
  • Templates
  • Felt markers (such as posca)

How to make Easter decorations:

Cut out templates. Place them on the magnetic sheet and draw with a pencil or board marker according to the template. With the scissors you cut out your Easter egg, Easter chicken or Easter bunny. Clean your Easter figure with a damp cloth so that you can no longer see pencil or marker lines. To draw on your Easter decoration, we recommend that you use markers such as Posca, which can be used on almost all surfaces. They are easy to get off again if you understand your motive. It is not a good idea to use permanent markers as it is difficult to remove the magnetic sheets.

TIP: Have you used a permanent marker or pen and are having difficulty getting that of? So dont worry. You can remove most of it by using our mirakelsvamp, so you quietly and can easily wipe it away.

Ideas for decoration:

Paint small dots or zik zak stripes on your Easter eggs. It is a very common and classic Easter decoration that we all know. For your DIY Easter chickens, you can paint an orange beak and small eyes, as shown in the video. While making the eyes it is important to let the white part dry for a few minutes before you start drawing the black dot. If you are extra creative, you can also easily make claws to complete the appearance of the Easter chicken. As in the video, you can make eyes, whiskers, ears and a mouth for your Easter bunny.

When you have finished painting the various motifs, you can easily decorate your whiteboard or fridge with them. The advantage of magnetic sheet is that it can be used on all magnetic surfaces. So you don't have to grab either glue or tape to hang it up at home or at work. We hope that you have been inspired to make Easter decorations yourself.

3 good reasons to make Easter decorations yourself:

1) You will like it yourself! And don't your children or colleagues share the same attitude? It creates joy.
2) You can use the Easter decorations over and over again, so you don't have to think about buying new ones next year.
