Banko chips with magnet
Did you know that you can make banking games easier with magnets?
You can buy bank chips with a metal string in them, so they can be moved around with a magnetic stick. But they are often not very good. We therefore have a few suggestions for both you who play banko and you who run a banko hall:
Do you play banko?
You can make your own bank tokens with magnets using a magnetic sheet. See all colored magnetic sheets here. Our magnetic sheets are flexible and therefore easy to cut with large kitchen scissors or cut with a hobby knife. Then you can decide the color and size of your pieces yourself, and they are more magnetic than the plastic pieces with a metal string in them. And then you can write or draw on them (perhaps an extra trick for luck).
You can also choose real magnets if you want to be sure that the pieces do not move. But not all bank chargers are inherently magnetic. So if you bring a metal plate and put your rented plates on top, your bank chargers will immediately become magnetic, as long as you use strong magnets. We can recommend Ludo magnets, which also are easy to move around and which do not completely block the numbers. You can also use slightly more fun magnets, e.g. crocodiles or ladybugs, but this requires that the bank chargers are not bent so that the magnetism can catch the metal plate underneath.
Or you can go a step further and use LEGO figures - they can be magnetized with these 8x4x3 magnets. And they fit into the feet of the figures. 1 magnet is enough for a bank - and 2 make it possible to use it to hang on the board at home.
If you run a bank hall
Did you know that you can get bank chargers printed directly on magnetic foil? It has several advantages:
- They are magnetic
- They can be reused
- They are flexible and do not break
- They can easier to stack
- They can be wiped off
- The pieces stick better
