Structure and standardisation is important to make day-to-day processes as efficient as possible. LEAN can be very useful for this purpose.

Developed for Toyota years ago, LEAN is a business philosophy for continuous process optimisation. Since then, many public and private companies have adopted this optimisation culture, and LEAN is implemented to simplify and optimise day-to-day processes. It is a way of achieving specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time-bound bottom-line and quality results.

We sell many magnetic pockets and magnetic folders to public companies, including hospitals. They use them to organise rosters and info notes to the staff, thereby helping them optimise routines. In addition, they use the red, yellow and green magnets to categorise tasks; i.e. how far in the process they are (green = completed).  They also use magnetic tape to divide boards into e.g. weekdays, departments and staff members. Magnetic pockets are also used to display photos of the staff, which allows citizens or patients to see who they should contact. 

You save time by using magnets as they can easily be moved around, and papers and photos can be replaced in no time. Apart from that, it's good for the environment as well as your finances as you don't have to laminate, and you don't throw away magnets, but use them time and time again for many years. They are ideal for LEAN boards and as part of e.g. 5S, TPM, Andon and PCDA.
