Customer service

We are dedicated to providing first-class customer service, so please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have. You might also find the answer to your questions below. The list is not exhaustive although we update it regularly with the most frequently asked questions. If you don't find what you are looking for, you are more than welcome to contact us through our contact form or send us an e-mail on info@magnetpartner.com.

Returning goods:

If you wish to return your order, it's not a problem. Simply do it within 30 days from receiving the goods. Use our return form. Goods must be returned in the same or at least similar packaging to the one in which you received the goods. This is due to the fact that our products, especially magnets, may be damaged if they are returned in an envelope without additional protection. We don't accept returns if they are damaged during the returning of goods.

Choosing the strength:

Strength is indicated as direct pull. This means the strength that a magnet has when it is in direct contact with a magnetic surface and is being pulled directly (read about glass boards HERE where other guidelines apply). Read more HERE.

How do you measure strength?

The strength of magnets is measured using advanced and precise equipment. We carry out several measurements and state the lowest value among the measurements. This way you can be certain that our magnets are as strong as we say they are. Read more HERE.

What are power magnets?

These extremely powerful magnets are also called neodymium magnets, but are known by many different names, e.g. power magnets and neo magnets. They are not toys. Read more HERE.

Magnets for magnetic glass boards:

Not all magnets are suitable for use on magnetic glass boards. Therefore, it's very important that you know which magnets to use. Read more HERE.

Magnetic paint and magnets:

We sell magnetic paint as well as strong magnets for magnetically painted surfaces. And regardless of whether you buy magnetic paint from us or another retailer, we are always ready and happy to guide you to the right magnets for you. Read more HERE.

What is LEAN?

Structure and standardisation is very important to make your day-to-day life as efficient as possible. LEAN can be very useful for that purpose. Lean is a business philosophy developed for Toyota some years ago. Since then, many public and private companies have adopted this efficiency culture. Read more HERE.

Can I make my own knife rack?

You can make your own knife rack using magnets and a surface of wood, cork, tiles or another material. We have written and made a video about the subject. Read more HERE.

Hobby magnets:

We have been feeling a bit creative and here we show you how to make your own fridge magnets with FIMO clay. These methods can be used on many other materials than FIMO. Read more HERE.

Magnets for storage shelves:

If you have a magnetic shelf (steel or other magnetic material), we have a large selection of magnetic solutions for your warehouse. Magnetic pockets and c-profiles allow you to change the information as needed. Read more HERE.

Monopolar magnets:

The closest thing you get to a monopolar magnet is a neodymium magnet (also known as power magnets), which can be used for machines, etc. Read more HERE.

How do I glue magnets?

In order to glue on a magnet, the surface must be clean, dry and free of dust. Avoid uneven or rough surfaces. Always clean with a suitable cleaning detergent. We don't recommend using warm glue. Read more HERE.

Magnets for hanging up swings, cradles, etc.:

Never use magnets to hang up moving objects. This also includes hook magnets. When you hang up a heavy, moving object on a steel beam, etc., the magnet might come loose and fall to the floor. This could result in serious damage to material or if the magnet or moving object hits a person. Material fatigue may occur and we therefore strongly advise against the above. Instead, we recommend that you use a solution with screws, rope, etc.

What are north and south poles?

The north pole of a magnet always points to the north (as long as the magnet can turn freely). Likewise, the south pole of a magnet will always point to the south. This is easily demonstrated if you put different magnets next to each other – the opposite poles will always be attracted to each other. In other words, the north pole of the earth is a magnetic south pole. And the easy solution: a compass. When you hold a compass, the needle will normally point south, but the north pole of a magnet will attract the needle to the north.
