Description

Channel magnets are neodymium magnets with a steel cap. The metal not only makes the magnet stronger but also more resistant to impacts.

We sell these magnets individually - all prices and discounts are shown here on this product card.

Size: 8 x 2 cm.
Height: 0.4 cm.
Countersunk hole: Ø4.5 mm.
Strength: approx. 37 kg.
Screw size: M3

Oblong power magnet with two countersunk holes and a steel channel. The metal has a C-shape which gives you all the advantages of the hardness of metal without loosing any qualities of the magnet - on the contrary: the strength of the magnet increases.

All channel magnets have the magnetic poles pointing in the same direction. This meens that you have to combine them with another magnet (without a metal cap) or a metal plate as counterpart. If you put two channel magnets facing eachother on the magnet side, they will repel each other.

The countersunk boreholes give you a completely flat surface when using countersunk screws in the right size.

These magnets are primarily for indoor use. They will rust in time when used outdoor in contact with rain and wind. The rust will not affect the magnetism for many years when used outdoor, though. But the magnets are made for indoor purposes.

SPECIFICATIONS:
Strength: approx. 37,000 g.
Magnetisation: N38
Coating: nickel-coated (Ni-Cu-Ni)
Steel: Q235

We always measure strength in a direct pull with a thick metal plate. The strength of a magnet is weakened with distance from its magnetic counterpart.
