Description

This round neodymium magnet has a countersunk screw hole (M3). The countersunk hole ensure that the screw will sit flush when fully screwed on the magnet plate. In addition, it ensures the screw will not hinder the magnets level of magnetism. But when a screw head sticks up and is not flush with the magnetic surface, it will create distance making the magnetic force weaker towards a counterpart for the magnet (direct contact = full magnetic power).

Diameter: 1.5 cm.
Height: 0.4 cm.
Screw hole: ø 4.5 mm. (M3)
Strength: approx. 3 kg.

Do not overtighten the screw when you work with this type of magnet, because this magnet is not encased within a protective steel pot and could, therefore, easily break.

This magnet has a carrying capability of 3 kg. (6.614 lbs.). The strength has been measured using a direct pull method on a pure magnetic steel plate. Disclaimer: If there is a gap between the magnet and the magnetic counterpart, the carrying capacity will be significantly weakened as described above.

We recommend this type of neodymium magnet be used indoors. With constant contact with outdoor elements, these power magnets will rust over time. However, it will take a long time before the magnet strength capacity weakens despite surface rust.

Aim to keep the magnet from being exposed to temperatures above 80 degrees for prolonged periods of time.

SPECIFICATIONS
Strength: approx. 3,000 g.
Magnetism: N35
Coating: Nickel-plated (Ni-Cu-Ni)

ATTENTION! These magnets will not attract one another if you face them "head to head" because of their similar polarity direction. But if you turn one magnet around, they will attract each other magnetically. We recommend using a similarly sized magnet without a screw hole or metal surface.

Feel free to contact us if you have any doubts and need assistance to make sure you that your project can complete correctly the first time.
