Hook magnets (neodymium)

Hook magnets in steel pots are very stong magnets with adjustable hook. We have the pot magnets in many sizes. See every product card for more details on strength etc.

Use magnets with hook, when you would attach something on a magnetic surfarce or if you are not able to drill holes in te wall (can be paired with small steel sheets). Be aware when you would hang something at the wall, that it is not with a direct pull. It means that if you as an example are using magnets for hanging up a heavy calendar or clothes on the wall, there would be a strong downward pull, which means that you would need a minimum of 4 times as powerful traction when the pull is downward in contrary if the pull were direct.

It is of great importance for carrying capacity needs for the object, which is to be hung, weighs heavily downwards, as a downward pull on the magnet is greatly challenges it. Hang up the tea towel with a hook magnet

Is your plan to hang up a tea towel or something else which have a light weight, then the strength doesn’t have much to say compared to the calculation for the need of strength. A tea towel is lightweight and for that reason it doesn’t pull the magnet downward as a big calendar would do. But you need to have in mind, how much you need to pull in the tea towel, while it is still hanging on the hook magnet. Because this has a big impact for how powerful a hook magnet you should choose. Are you that kind of a person who are letting the tea towel hanging while you are using it for dry things, then you should consider using a strong hook magnet, because of the crooked pull is hard for the magnetic field and then maybe you would need to have 10 kilogram in carrying capacity even that the tea towel only has a weight of 100 gram. But do you take it off the hook before drying things, then you would only need a little hook magnet.
